About The Position

As a Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist for PCL Construction Enterprises, Inc. in Denver, Colorado, you’ll have the opportunity to play a key role in advancing enterprise-wide talent acquisition efforts while serving as a hands-on leader within the team. Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive, full-cycle talent acquisition experience, with exposure to complex or high-impact hiring; experience across corporate and agency environments is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and support junior talent acquisition professionals, while partnering effectively with senior stakeholders on hiring priorities and decisions.
  • Strong business and strategic understanding, with experience contributing to cross-functional or broader talent initiatives in collaborative, matrixed environments.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with sound judgment and discretion when navigating sensitive situations and confidential information.
  • Strong organizational and execution skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, follow through on commitments, and deliver results.
  • Working knowledge of employment legislation, compliance requirements, applicant tracking systems, and talent acquisition best practices, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate full-cycle talent acquisition for complex, high-impact roles, partnering closely with hiring leaders to shape hiring approaches and provide market-informed guidance.
  • Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and workload support to junior-level Talent Acquisition team members, helping prioritize requisitions, build capability, and reinforce consistent recruiting practices.
  • Collaborate with HRPD and business stakeholders to support the development and execution of hiring strategies aligned with workforce plans, project demands, and evolving business needs.
  • Contribute to enterprise and sector-level talent acquisition initiatives, pilots, and continuous improvement efforts, supporting the advancement of shared services and standardized practices.
  • Promote and model best practices related to candidate experience, equitable hiring, compliance, and data quality across the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Use labor market insights, recruiting metrics, and trends to inform sourcing approaches and provide thoughtful recommendations to hiring leaders and HRPD partners.
  • Represent and promote the organization’s employer brand and employee value proposition in the talent market, ensuring a positive and consistent candidate experience.
  • Support accurate and compliant use of the applicant tracking system and related talent acquisition tools, reinforcing data integrity and reporting standards.
