Torch Technologies is currently seeking an experienced Lead Systems Engineer/Analyst to support the Tactical Missile Systems team on Redstone Arsenal. Requirements

  • US Citizenship.
  • B.S. Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience with software development, modeling and simulation, and/or data analysis, with 5+ years of experience leading technical teams and efforts.
  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Experience with MATLAB, C++, Python, Fortran, or other programming languages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively interact with employees, customers, management, and peers.
  • Strong understanding of software integration, modeling and simulation, and verification and validation (V&V) processes.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary teams comprised of government and sub-contractors.
  • Experience developing and presenting briefings, presentations, and written reports to senior military and government civilian personnel.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with containerization software (e.g., singularity).
  • Strong understanding of software model integration and simulation frameworks.
  • Experience working with advanced math and physics concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage team and project schedules, resources, and contract hours and funding.
  • Support and execute modeling and simulation integration efforts, contribute to analysis tool development, pre- and post-flight data generation, and algorithm testing and analysis.
  • Some travel may be required in support of flight tests.
