About The Position

As the Lead Systems Administrator, you will serve as a subject matter expert to administer and maintain security of monitoring systems including SolarWinds, SCOM (System Center Operations Manager). This role involves leading engineering and administrative work associated with Enterprise Monitoring tools and capability. You will maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends, assess their impact, and collaborate with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions. The Lead Systems Administrator will direct and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives. This role also identifies and directs the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department, and/or business unit. You will provide subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects, and provide direction on complex assignments, projects, and/or initiatives to build and enhance the capability of the system. Additionally, you will configure, install, maintain, and perform upgrades to server applications and hardware, applying advanced knowledge to computer systems hardware and software. You will also provide direction and guidance for the organization's information systems and peripheral equipment, such as servers, desktops, printers, and storage devices.

Requirements

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) in Information Technology
  • 5 – 7+ Years experience in IT infrastructure administration with SolarWinds and SCOM.
