The Lead Surgical LVT will identify training gaps and work proactively with employees and leadership to develop action plans that improve performance and confidence. This role includes all responsibilities of LVT Levels 1, 2, and 3, plus additional duties related to leading the surgical and dentistry schedule, patient flow, team huddles, mentoring new LVTs and veterinary assistants, developing training plans, monitoring standards, reviewing medical records, identifying workflow challenges, liaising with hospital leadership, promoting compliance, managing inventory, ensuring equipment readiness, and modeling professionalism.
