About The Position

Coordinates and schedules surgical procedures to ensure optimal utilization of operating rooms, equipment, and surgical staff. Liaises with physician offices to gather necessary scheduling information and accommodate patient and physician needs while adhering to department guidelines. Manages the assignment of operating suites, equipment, and time blocks to maximize resource efficiency. Accurately enters required patient demographic, billing, and insurance data into electronic medical records to prevent surgery delays.

Requirements

• High School diploma equivalency with 1 year of experience OR 2 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
• Required professional licensure/certification and 1 year of experience can be used in lieu of education, if applicable.
