About The Position

As a Lead/Supervisory Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a work group focused on the design and implementation of main power electrical systems and equipment. This role involves close collaboration with internal electrical groups, other disciplines, clients, and vendors. You will report to the Manager, Electrical Engineering and will be located at either our Cranberry Township, PA or Rock Hill, SC location. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote flexibility with regular on-site collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent with military and/or business experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of strong and progressively more responsible leadership experience required.
  • Work on-site a minimum of two days per week.
  • Gather and analyze input, evaluate alternatives, and make effective decisions.
  • Excellent team building skills with an ability to engage with technical and non-technical partners.
  • English language skills (written and oral)
  • Leadership qualities and abilities and teamwork oriented
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and practices

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and direction to a distributed team of engineers and designers.
  • Support department leadership with offer development and project execution.
  • Help implement training and development plans.
  • Develop the next generation of Westinghouse engineers. Mentor the team to aid in their technical development, project performance and work satisfaction.
  • Engage with external customers, partners and WEC senior management.
  • Support prioritization of engineering tasks by assessing project goals, execution time, and implementation costs.
  • Realize best practices, lessons learned, and improvement in project performance and margins.
  • Provide management team information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing engineering data and trends.
