About The Position

The Lead Student Ambassador in the Office of Admissions plays a vital role in exemplifying the mission, values, and life at Regis University. This position reports to the Associate Director, Experience & Event Project Management and supports University Marketing and the Office of Admissions in promoting Regis University and ensuring prospective students and families receive a quality campus visit experience. Lead Student Ambassadors collaborate with the Visit Experience and Events Team to meet specific expectations for campus visits and events. Extensive and accurate knowledge of the university is required. Responsibilities include providing campus tours, assisting in event preparation, executing day-of event responsibilities, giving presentations, and participating in student panels. Additionally, the Lead Student Ambassador will assist the Associate Director in training and leading the student ambassador team during daily shifts and events. All Student Ambassadors must be enrolled full-time and maintain good academic standing. Availability to work 5-10 hours per week, with additional hours during evenings and weekends, is required.

Responsibilities

  • Exemplify the mission, values, and life at Regis University
  • Support University Marketing and the Office of Admissions to promote Regis University
  • Ensure prospective students and families are offered a quality campus visit experience
  • Work directly with the Visit Experience and Events Team to ensure campus visits and events meet specific expectations
  • Provide campus tours during campus visits
  • Be involved in admissions events by assisting in event preparation
  • Execute specific responsibilities during the day of admissions events
  • Give presentations at admissions events
  • Be on student panels at admissions events
  • Assist the Associate Director in training the student ambassador team during daily shifts and events
  • Assist the Associate Director in leading the student ambassador team during daily shifts and events
  • Participate in continuous learning and training to stay current with updates and skills
  • Assist with visit and event preparation during office hours
  • Assist with inquiry cards during office hours
  • Assist with fulfillment requests
  • Assist with tracking inventory of marketing/event materials
  • Assist with marketing projects
  • Assist with email campaigns
  • Assist with social media posts
  • Conduct outreach to students and families regarding events, reminders, etc.
