About The Position

Feyen Zylstra is seeking a Lead Structured Cabling Technician for their Charleston office. This role is responsible for installing structured cabling and pulling cable within commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate is motivated, responsible, and dedicated to learning on the job as a team player. Feyen Zylstra specializes in the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical and low voltage systems, serving industries such as healthcare, industrial manufacturing, commercial, and data centers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years in the communications industry
• Knowledge of telecommunications, data, AV, and network infrastructure cabling and components
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and consistently
• Willingness and ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures
• Ability to travel regionally to project sites as needed
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of BICSI, ANSI, EIA/TIA, and local low voltage code
