About The Position

Pivotal is a leader in the electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft market, designing, developing, and manufacturing light eVTOL aircraft. The company is known for its BlackFly aircraft, the first light eVTOL to fly manned missions and enter the consumer market. Pivotal aircraft are efficient, compact, and simple, suitable for consumer, public service, and defense applications. Their distinctive tilt-aircraft architecture and scalable platform have been in use for over 10 years. The company is progressing towards the general release and scalable production of its next-generation aircraft, the Helix, in early 2026. Requirements

7+ years as a visual storyteller, videographer, documentarian, or senior content creator
Portfolio demonstrating narrative strength and editorial judgment
Deep hands-on experience producing and editing video content independently
Comfortable working autonomously in dynamic, real-world environments
Proficiency with modern video, photo, and editing tools (Figma, Adobe creative suite, Canon C80, Mavic Pro 4, Canon R5)
Demonstrates a proactive safety mindset by embedding safety into daily operations, identifying and mitigating risks through assessments and training, encouraging open dialogue on safety concerns, and continuously improving protocols to ensure a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

Own narrative development from concept through final video and visual content
Identify and shape compelling stories across teams, customers, and missions
Maintain consistent brand voice while adapting tone across Personal, Defense, and Response
Produce, shoot, and edit short- and mid-form video content as the primary output
Capture supporting photography when needed to strengthen storytelling
Document flight operations, engineering, customer demos, missions, and major milestones
Travel to aerospace, defense, and public safety environments to capture real-world content
Work confidently with technical, operational, and executive stakeholders
Bring a documentarian mindset to sensitive, credibility-driven environments
