About The Position
The Lead Sterile Processing Technician at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA, is a Full-Time position working 8-hour Day shifts. This role is responsible for supervising and maintaining the operations and workflow of the Sterile Processing Department for maximum efficiency, acting as the subject matter expert for instrument cleaning, preparation, and sterilization. The position involves operating departmental machinery, receiving, labeling, stocking, and delivering supplies and equipment, using a computer, answering phones, filling orders, and cleaning work surfaces and storage areas. Requirements
- Successful completion and maintenance of preceptor requirements.
- Upon hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association OR Upon hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
- 4 years Experience as Sterile Processing/Distribution Tech.
