Imagine working at the forefront of innovation in fluid-flow technology, with over 1,400 colleagues across the globe and eight manufacturing facilities on four continents. Armstrong Fluid Technology is a community of the brightest and most creative minds, driven by a shared mission to engineer the future and safeguard our planet. In this role, you will research, design, and develop the electrical systems at the heart of a next-generation critical infrastructure product — serving one of the fastest-growing and most demanding applications in our industry. The electrical scope spans the full power chain: automatic transfer switches, VFDs and motor controllers, pumps, disconnect switches, redundant power supplies, motor protection breakers, and overall electrical safety of the product. This is a standardized product development role. The product will be manufactured on scale, so every electrical design must be repeatable and reliable, released with standard Bills of Materials (BOMs), controlled drawings, and clearly documented functionality. You will mature the product from proof-of-concept prototypes through pre-production and into production, working alongside mechanical, hydraulic, controls, and embedded software engineers.
