Lead Sports Party Coach

The Chelsea Piers Field House is looking for energetic coaches to work youth sports birthday parties and events. Candidates should be passionate about working with children, have athletic experience and ability, and possess excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
Requirements
- Ability to work at least five weekend days a month.
- A minimum of one year of experience coaching/instructing/working with children between the ages of 2-13.
- Experience as a coach in basketball, soccer, baseball and flag football.
- Excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- An outgoing, energetic personality and enjoy working in a team environment.
Nice To Haves
- Certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate sports activities for kids during weekend birthday parties and events
- Lead multi-sport party activities, including basketball, baseball, soccer, and flag football, suited to varying ages
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and fun environment at all times, alongside lead and junior staff
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and encouragement to guests and staff
- Remain positive and calm during events
- Additional weekday & weekend shifts for classes and youth & adult events will be available
