About The Position
Responsible for leading the speech-language pathology services for both Inland Valley and Rancho Springs Hospitals. Participates in administrative activities including staff scheduling, performance review, quality monitoring/Improvement, and education/training. Within scope of service, evaluations, diagnoses, plans, and provides quality therapy treatments that meet patient individual needs, are medically prescribed, and necessary using the standards of professional practice.
Requirements
- Masters’s degree In Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited College or University.
- Three (3) or more years’ experience as a speech-language pathologist.
- Current California License or eligible to obtain immediately after hire.
- AHA BLS certification
- ASHA certification
Responsibilities
- Experience in diagnosing and treating swallow disorders.
- Ability to analyze test results to determine patients’ communicative abilities to determine necessary therapy.
- Knowledge of EMR documentation
