Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Specialty Software Engineer in San Leandro, CA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a related role involving specialty software engineering experience.
  • 4 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: securities, quants, artificial intelligence, or machine learning.
  • 4 years of experience with machine learning tools.
  • 4 years of experience with machine learning model development.
  • 4 years of reporting experience, analytics experience or a combination of both.
  • 4 years of statistical modeling experience.
  • 4 years of experience with design, implementation and governance experience with Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing or Machine Learning architecture.
  • 4 years of experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings).

Responsibilities

  • Create clear results and reports that tell a compelling story to improve infrastructure services to include, but not limited to, reduce mean-time-to-recovery (MTTR), anomaly detection, proactive trending and predictive analytics to avoid impacts, pattern, standardize and automate statistical and other analysis to include adoption with service owners.
  • Manage models to maintain accuracy and validity, conduct bias review, and maintain high service levels for the internal IT community.
  • Add business intelligence reporting capability to create actionable reports and notification tools that can be leveraged by various infrastructure teams to accurately monitor and reflect compliance/ non-compliance status at the asset level.
  • Handle risk and control requirements around the models, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure success; re-engineering and driving continual service improvement.
  • Consult and collaborate with internal business partners such as product management, technical leads, systems operations, and service and support organizations that own the data and/or service.
  • Contribute to the vision and high-level technical concepts spanning technology and business lines.
