About The Position

The Solutions Consulting team at Braze is a powerhouse group of technical storytellers who operate at the intersection of technology and sales. They blend the art of storytelling with the science of how Braze's technology tactically delivers value, aiming to build prospective customer confidence in Braze's capabilities and team during the sales process. Braze is seeking a Lead Solutions Consultant for their Americas-based team. This role involves being a trusted advisor to prospective customers, bringing extensive product expertise, strategic vision, and best practices to establish strong foundations for long-term partnerships. The Lead Solutions Consultant is a critical member of the team, serving as a technical thought leader across various industry verticals, customer types, and geographic markets. This position offers an opportunity to expand thought leadership skills while partnering with Braze’s sales, marketing, security, and product teams. The role draws upon experience in Pre-sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Customer Success, coupled with a high level of curiosity about technology. Additionally, the Lead Solutions Consultant will mentor other Solutions Consultants on their team. Requirements

  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills coupled with unparalleled follow-up skills.
  • Ability to leave people with the impression that you are really listening to them and understand their problem.
  • Known for being a “team player.”
  • High level of intellectual curiosity, seeing opportunity and growth in learning more about what you do and how it impacts others.
  • Experience selling into accounts with a sophisticated Pre-sales Consulting or Sales Engineering team.
  • Domain knowledge of two or more of the following: SaaS, Mobile, APIs, Marketing Automation, Direct Marketing, Marketing Analytics or Programming (even just HTML).
  • Experience in Pre-sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Customer Success.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to prospective customers during the sales process, bringing extensive product expertise, strategic vision, and best practices to bear.
  • Strive to lay strong foundations, beginning pre-sales, for a long-term partnership between Braze and our customers.
  • Be a technical thought leader across industry verticals, customer types, and geographic markets.
  • Partner with Braze’s sales, marketing, security, and product teams.
  • Serve as a mentor to Solutions Consultants on your team.
