About The Position

The Lead Solution Manager is a senior technology partner supporting McKesson’s General Counsel Organization (GCO) and Global Impact Organization (GIO). This role operates at an enterprise level, translating business strategy into scalable technology solutions and driving a multi-year roadmap aligned to risk management, compliance, and operational excellence. This position sits at the intersection of business and IT, owning solution architecture, portfolio alignment, and service maturity across a complex set of corporate functions including Legal, Compliance & Ethics, Corporate Affairs, Enterprise Quality, and Global Security.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience. Less years required if has relevant Master’s or Doctorate qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in IT service management, product management, business relationship management, or business facing IT Architecture roles
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and delivering enterprise technology initiatives
  • Ability to translate complex business strategies into actionable technology roadmaps
  • Strong ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to senior leadership and influence decisions
  • Deep understanding of system integration, data flows, and scalable design
  • Strong knowledge of ITSM/ITIL principles, service modeling, and operational governance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Legal, Compliance, Risk, or Corporate Affairs functions
  • Knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) platforms
  • Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, pharma, financial services)
  • Advanced degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a multi-year technology roadmap aligned to business priorities, regulatory needs, and enterprise standards
  • Partner with senior leaders as a trusted advisor; drive alignment between business goals and technology investments
  • Lead intake, prioritization, and governance of initiatives to maximize business value and risk mitigation
  • Advance service maturity through standardization, service health monitoring, and continuous improvement practices
  • Own end-to-end architecture, ensuring scalable, secure, and integrated solutions across the enterprise landscape
  • Establish KPIs, monitor service performance, and drive data-informed improvements
  • Lead vendor strategy, RFPs, and delivery governance to ensure quality, compliance, and long-term sustainability
