About The Position

MN8 Energy LLC is seeking a Lead Software Product Owner in Boca Raton, FL. This role allows for remote work up to two days per week within commuting distance of Boca Raton, FL. The position involves providing technical due diligence for software vendors, serving as a technical SME for platform customization, researching product offerings for CPMS and eMSP platforms, and integrating API tools into the software roadmap for E-mobility initiatives. The role also includes developing technical documentation, conducting software tests, verifying code quality for UI applications (mobile and web), and leading the RFP, development, and implementation phases for customized solutions for the MN8 E-infrastructure network. Additionally, the Lead Software Product Owner will plan and document unit tests, evaluate third-party and open-source software modules, analyze test results, present findings at technical design reviews, support software QA, and break down feature deliverables for developers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Electrical Engineering or related field.
Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role.
Three (3) years of experience with API protocols and standards including XML, JSON, SOAP, and REST.
Three (3) years of experience with backend system integrations across CPMS, utilities, and enterprise platforms.
Three (3) years of experience interfacing with OCPP protocols to onboard and validate DC fast charging hardware integrations.
Three (3) years of experience working with software tools (such as Jira, BitBucket, Git, or Confluence) for roadmap planning and cross-functional coordination.
Three (3) years of experience with programming languages including Java, C++, Python, PHP, or objective-C.
Three (3) years of experience building integration design and platform customization.
Three (3) years of experience with frameworks including Spring and Code Igniter to build scalable platforms with agile and high-performance needs and offering microservices independently.
Three (3) years of experience with OOPS and Angular/REACT to manage complex data structures with scalable and maintainable systems.

Responsibilities

Provide technical due diligence with outside software vendors on onboarding and implementing CPMS platform.
Serve as a technical SME for customizing a platform for MN8 Energy.
Conduct research on available product offerings for CPMS and eMSP platforms.
Integrate various API tools to our existing software roadmap for E-mobility initiatives.
Develop technical documents, standards and application examples using 3rd party platforms and vendors.
Develop and conduct tests on various software applications and use cases for the functionality and validation of features.
Provide solutions to problems and software bugs.
Verify and test codes for high quality UI based applications-mobile and web.
Develop functional tools to meet company requirements.
Lead the efforts on all phases of initial RFP, development, and implementation of customized solutions for the MN8 E-infrastructure network.
Plan, perform and document unit tests.
Evaluate third party and open-source software modules.
Analyze test results and present findings at technical design reviews.
Support software QA to resolve site deployment issues.
Break down large feature deliverables into actionable items for developers.
