About The Position

As a Lead Software Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, you will provide technical guidance to project teams that design, develop, and implement software solutions. You will drive the adoption of coding standards, identify and address risks, and provide mitigation solutions to ensure timely and successful delivery of software projects aligned with business objectives. You will report directly to our Director Engineering, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the development and delivery of cutting-edge software solutions that support aerospace innovations, contributing to projects that advance technology and operational excellence in the aerospace domain. You will be supporting the Thunderbolt Platform, a foundational aerospace software and hardware platform used across multiple Honeywell avionics products. It is managed by the Thunderbolt Platform & Customer Tools / Platform COE (Center of Excellence) and is intended to improve software reuse, quality, scalability, and certification compliance across aerospace programs.
