About The Position

The Lead Software Engineer will provide intermediate technical leadership by helping the team follow approved architecture and develop solutions and design considerations for the development, maintenance, and improvement of software applications. This role will help establish best practices in software development, coding, code review, testing, and problem-solving while delivering complex project deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of professional experience and/or training.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • Experience working in a full-stack environment.
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of industry best practices related to technical and architectural practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and technical influencing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the end-to-end technical flow of the project.
  • Collaborate with business partners and architects to understand, recommend, and follow best practices and implement solutions.
  • Influence technical solutions by sharing knowledge and brainstorming with the team.
  • Help the team move forward by applying technical problem-solving skills.
  • Assist with code reviews and reinforce standard practices within the team.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to recent technologies and development practices.
  • Serve as a go-to resource for exploring innovative solutions and conducting proofs of concept.
