State Farm is seeking 2 Lead Software Engineers to join the Claims Communication Product Suite, a team committed to creating communication experiences that inspire confidence and trust in every interaction. Our mission is to empower claims communications that inform people with the right information anytime, anywhere. In this role, you will lead efforts to develop integrated, scalable solutions that prioritize the needs and experiences of our customers and claim handlers. You will collaborate closely across cross-functional teams to build seamless, intuitive communication workflows across multiple channels, including email, chatbots, telephony, text, and push notifications. You will drive the modernization and simplification of our applications by reducing unnecessary complexity and consolidating legacy systems, while delivering maintainable, high-quality services. Your work will directly support our core values of being customer-centric, people-first, and collaborative, while fostering a unified experience that balances clarity, speed, and empathy. The ideal candidates are highly technical, possess effective communication skills, and bring hands-on experience with AWS and State Farm's technology ecosystem, with a track record in software delivery, solution design, and deployment — and an innovative mindset.
