Lead Software Engineer
About The Position
The Lead Software Engineer designs, develops, tests, and deploys software applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Ruby on Rails to support ecommerce systems. The role builds and maintains integrations with third-party platforms such as PIM, Salsify, and Rithum using REST APIs; deploys, monitors, and maintains applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Heroku; and investigates and resolves production issues through debugging, root-cause analysis, and corrective code implementation. The position also establishes and enforces coding standards, architectural guidelines, and CI/CD practices, and leads the preparation and maintenance of technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Five years of experience in the job offered, or five years of experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer.
- Five years of concurrent experience designing and developing applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Ruby on Rails.
- Five years of concurrent experience with REST.
