The Lead Software Engineer is responsible for building highly performant auction-based systems, partnering with and leading a cross-functional team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in designing and developing high-performance auction-based systems.
Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Python, Java, or similar.
Expertise in system architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team.

Nice To Haves

Experience with machine learning and data analytics.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
Familiarity with call center technologies and CRM systems

Responsibilities

Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, ensuring best practices in software development and system architecture.
Drive continuous improvement in code quality, performance, and scalability.
Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize features and functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring system reliability and uptime.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for the development team.
Performs other duties as assigned
