About The Position
Seeking a hands-on Senior/Lead Software Engineer to support the modernization and migration of existing on-prem applications to AWS. The role will focus on cloud readiness, application development, integration, deployment, and technical leadership.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- 3+ years hands-on experience with: AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, Istio, Helm Charts, and OAuth 2.0.
- Strong Java application development experience.
- Cloud migration / modernization experience.
- Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and SDLC.
- Experience with application integration, deployment, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps and software architecture.
- Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
- Strong technical leadership, stakeholder communication, and mentoring skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, testing, integration, and deployment.
- Migrate and modernize on-prem applications for AWS.
- Develop technical solutions and participate in architecture decisions.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor developers.
- Identify technical risks and improve application performance.
- Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Project Managers.
