Multiple positions available. Coordinate with business and product teams to establish requirements of cross-border money transfer eco system. Assess business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards. Design, and implement complex, multi-tier distributed software systems throughout all phases of the software development process. Apply Agile Methodology daily and follow Definition of Done (DOD) process for better quality by maintaining 80% of unit test coverage and 70% integration overage. Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and roll out applications with cross-functional impacts. Develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code adhering to established coding standards and best practices. Actively participate in peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to design principles and quality guidelines. Apply secure coding principles and practices throughout the development lifecycle to mitigate security vulnerabilities. Demonstrate a strong understanding of software design patterns and principles to create efficient and resilient solutions. Proactively identify and address technical debt to maintain a healthy codebase & systems. Interface and collaborate with project management, engineering leadership, release management, and the teams across geographically distributed development centers to deliver quality product features within a given schedule. Telecommuting may be permitted up to 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to Western Union, LLC at 7001 East Belleview Ave, Denver, CO 80237.
