About The Position

We are seeking Lead Software Engineers to deliver features across all architecture layers using the latest technology stacks. This role involves designing, analyzing, developing, adopting, and performing various testing methodologies like unit testing, test-driven development, regression automation, and behavior-driven development to deliver product backlogs for large and complex projects. You will communicate and collaborate with a global team, resolve development issues, and maintain application components throughout the DevOps and software development lifecycle. Adherence to firm-wide architecture standards, risk management, and security policies is essential. The role also includes participation in quality assurance, peer reviews, and code reviews, as well as adopting and practicing Agile methodologies such as story grooming, sprint planning, complexity analysis, standup calls, and sprint retrospectives.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Lead Software Engineer, Software Engineer/Developer, IT Consultant, Associate (IT), or related occupation.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Lead Software Engineer, Software Engineer/Developer, IT Consultant, Associate (IT), or related occupation.
  • Developing web-based applications using React, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Java, and REST API.
  • Assessing business requirements from JIRA stories and translating them into technical approaches.
  • Collaborating with product managers and operations teams to deliver cloud-based solutions that support client needs.
  • Analyzing complex customer data.
  • Developing and maintaining dynamic and interactive metrics dashboards using Python, Django, Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
  • Working with public or private cloud-native stacks, building on AWS, and using Kubernetes, Lambda, and ECS.
  • Messaging queues using Kafka, ActiveMQ, and RabbitMQ.
  • Performing object-oriented design and test driven development.
  • Test automation frameworks including Junit and Mockito.
  • Performing statistical analysis using machine learning methods including at least 2 of the following: logistic regression, multivariate regression, classification techniques, attribution, cohort analysis, associative rule mining, and predictive modeling.
  • SQL queries, Views, Stored Proc and triggers using Oracle and postgres databases.
