About The Position
At Cadence, the Lead Software Engineer will be a member of an expert R&D team creating technologies and products for static and dynamic transistor-level analysis and characterization of advanced custom digital and mixed-signal circuits. The work focuses on researching and developing AI/ML technology to significantly improve the speed, capacity, and usability of design analysis and characterization; developing tools and infrastructure for characterization data mining; and modeling design effects that are dominant in advanced technology nodes, such as aging and variation.
Requirements
- Industry experience developing and maintaining C++-based applications in a Unix or Linux environment.
- Experience with quality and software processes.
- Proficiency in designing data structures and algorithms and applying software engineering principles.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in transistor-level circuit design.
- Experience using AI/ML for EDA.
