About The Position

Responsible for designing and delivering enterprise-wide solutions on cloud platform. Perform data profiling, data analysis, and data modeling. Improve data quality and efficiency of data processing channels and look for optimizations. Work with enterprise architects, data architects, and solution architects to design and implement data solutions to meet business priorities while keeping with technology strategy, standards, and the best course of action. Interpret trends and patterns in collaboration with engineering under architecture team guidance. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve the data platform. Document data flows, data models, and data dictionaries to facilitate knowledge sharing and operational transparency. Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize data engineering tasks in alignment with business objectives. Work under the guidance of the architecture team to align solutions with enterprise architecture principles and roadmaps. Develop monitoring and alerting solutions to track system health, performance, and data quality. Ensure reusability, modularity, and maintainability in data engineering and cloud architecture components. Implement best practices in data governance, metadata management, and data security while ensuring compliance with organizational policies. 10% domestic travel required.

Requirements

Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Information Systems, IT, or a related field and three (3) years of experience as a software engineering, IT, or related field. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Information Systems, IT, or a related field and five (5) years of experience as a software engineering, IT, or related field.
Experience using cloud technologies such as Redshift, EMR, Lambda, NoSQL, and PostgreSQL.
Experience utilizing AWS services, including S3, IAM roles, Cloud formation, AWS MSK, RDS, and Security.
Experience using Spark, Py Spark, Glue ETL, and Redshift serverless implementation.
Experience designing and implementing software/platforms.
Experience developing ETL pipelines for application systems.
Experience aligning business capabilities to Technology solutions.
Experience designing and overseeing scalable, secure, and resilient platform architectures on AWS.
Experience collaborating with stakeholders to align cloud solutions with business and technical strategies.
Experience leading the implementation of AWS services, including networking, compute, storage, and security.
Experience evaluating existing systems and recommending cloud-native enhancements and migrations.
Experience defining best practices for infrastructure-as-code, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience ensuring compliance with security, governance, and operational policies on AWS.
