The Lead Software Engineer, ServiceNow, is responsible for leading the design, development, and evolution of enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions with a strong focus on Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD). This role requires a hands-on individual who combines deep platform expertise, modern UX development, and integration architecture to deliver scalable, secure, and business-aligned ServiceNow solutions. The position involves working closely with the product management team to ensure the delivery of optimal user experiences. Requirements

  • Advanced ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts)
  • Flow Designer and advanced workflow orchestration
  • Performance tuning, upgrade planning, and technical debt management
  • Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD)
  • Employee Center Pro
  • UI Builder and Next Experience Playbook experience
  • Integration Hub and enterprise integrations
  • Now Mobile Studio
  • 8+ years of overall IT experience
  • 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and architecture experience
  • Proven experience leading complex, enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations of HRSD
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end ServiceNow implementation across HRSD
  • Design scalable, upgrade-safe solutions aligned with ServiceNow best practices and enterprise standards
  • Lead technical design reviews and architecture governance
  • Optimize customer experience using modern UI and AI-assisted workflows
  • Design & Architect ServiceNow Integrations using Integration hub and custom APIs
  • Ensure data security, role-based access, and compliance
  • Platform adoption on new tools and technologies available by ServiceNow
  • Lead adoption of ServiceNow AI capabilities
  • Identify opportunities where AI meaningfully reduces manual effort and improves service outcomes
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Business leaders, product owners & enterprise architect
  • Influence roadmap planning, platform strategy, and prioritization decisions
  • Promotes a supportive and collaborative teamwork environment across diverse groups
  • Evaluates interdependencies; thinks critically / systemically when solving problems
