Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)
• At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree
• 5+ years of experience with Cisco network hardware and software
• 2+ years of experience in Python or Ansible scripting
• Deep understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPN technologies
• Experience with platforms like Cisco SD-WAN
• Strong diagnostic abilities to resolve complex network performance and connectivity problems
• 2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
• Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling to accelerate productivity, utilizing capabilities beyond basic code completion

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in network automation, and full stack systems to create solutions that increase efficiency of platform engineers and help meet regulatory needs for the company
• Be a thought leader and drive the modernization and automation of physical infrastructure delivery
• Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community
• Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment
• Utilize programming languages like Ansible, Python, SQL, Node, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services
