The Lead Slot Technician will assist with the training and supervision of Slot Technicians, and effectively manage departmental projects such as slot movements, modifications, upgrades, and installations during their shift. This role involves performing routine preventative maintenance, inspecting, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing slot machines and related equipment to ensure constant functionality. The technician will also be responsible for checking and verifying peripheral devices, performing input/output tests, and ensuring the security of all slot equipment and games. Additionally, the position requires responding promptly to the needs of other slot personnel and guests, changing table game layouts, and troubleshooting miscellaneous mechanical devices. A key aspect of this role is providing excellent customer service and maintaining a fun gaming environment, while adhering to Indiana Gaming regulations, company internal controls, policies, and procedures. The work environment includes exposure to secondhand smoke, loud noises, and large crowds, and requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
