About The Position
West Shore Home is a leading home improvement company specializing in bathroom, flooring, window, and door remodels. With over 40 locations nationwide and more than 3,000 employees, the company is dedicated to providing high-quality and convenient home improvement services. The Installer will be responsible for performing safe and effective installations according to company procedures and PPE protocols, ensuring a 5-star customer experience. This role involves assisting with installations, including the removal of existing showers/baths and the installation of new tubs, pans, and wall surrounds, with potential plumbing updates. The position also requires thorough cleanup of the work area, careful handling of the customer's home, and managing paperwork and payment collection before returning to the warehouse.
Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, construction – or a hunger to learn!
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Must have a valid smart phone or smart device in order to log into Company required systems using two-factor authentication
Responsibilities
- Arrive at warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks
- Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport
- Demo existing bath/shower and install new tub or pan, wall surround, and update plumbing if needed
- Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to warehouse
