About The Position

The Lead Shop Tech supports the Display/Projection division by compiling equipment load lists, performing inventory of equipment and gear, and participating in shop activities as needed. The role facilitates the departure and return of products and gear, prepares equipment for events, and helps maintain shop operations and customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma; a technical degree is preferred, though a combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Some experience in a warehouse or shop environment is desirable.
• Ability and willingness to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, and to seek assistance for anything heavier.
• California driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive a 17-foot to 24-foot box truck.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the departure and return of products and gear.
• Load and unload trucks as directed.
• Compile and scan complete event load lists by picking, packing, and shipping all necessary equipment.
• Store and move equipment as needed.
• Maintain teamwork within the Field Shop to provide a high level of customer service.
• Work with supervisors and other shop technicians on shop maintenance.
• Check in packages and move equipment to appropriate shop locations.
• Perform inventory on equipment and gear.
