About The Position

The Material Handler performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. This role involves checking goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining records of goods, and rejecting unsatisfactory items. The position also includes packaging and preparing products and merchandise for final shipment, posting weights and shipping charges, and potentially operating a forklift. Responsibilities extend to preparing and maintaining records of merchandise shipped, reviewing customer orders, examining, stocking, and distributing merchandise, products, and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers, or manufacturing lines.
