Responsibilities

• Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
• Provide resource planning based on project demands.
• Planning and tracking loads/shipment activities and maintaining accurate records.
• Supervises and directs bay loaders for process flows of finished fabrication based on coating, NDE or additional work required to complete.
• Communicating with drivers and customers to schedule shipment activities and performing administrative tasks to deliver high-quality service for all parties.
• Making special shipping arrangements as necessary.
• Tracking and fixing shipping errors.
• Preparing bill of laden and packing lists.
• Update spool statues in software application as needed.
• Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards.
• Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize and reorganize workload to meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time sensitive situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.
• Be able to demonstrate attention to details and follow through.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and coordination abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player and can collaborate with others.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, if needed.
