About The Position

Fountain Tire Winnipeg (Distribution Centre) is looking for a dedicated and experienced Lead Shipper/Receiver to lead the shipping and receiving operations of the distribution centre. This role involves coordinating the preparation, loading, transportation, and tracking of outgoing products to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. The Lead Shipper/Receiver will also maintain shipping accuracy, inventory control, quality standards, and shipping schedules for large orders, while resolving shipment discrepancies. They will ensure end-to-end warehouse processes are followed and completed by warehouse associates, and will coach, mentor, and develop team members through ongoing training, feedback, and communication.

Requirements

• Completion of a high school diploma
• 2 + years of experience in the distribution industry in a leadership role
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
• Proven ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to consistently lift 50 kilograms
• Intermediate computer skills
• A customer service focus with the ability to meet deadlines and provide solutions to sensitive matters

• Forklift experience is an asset
