Lead Service Technician - Lincoln
About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Ford/Lincoln Certified Service Technician to join our expanding team at Korum Lincoln as a Lead Service Technician in Puyallup, WA. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive service and hold Ford or Lincoln certification. This role involves performing precise work on specific repair orders and accurately diagnosing the necessary repairs to ensure vehicle safety and customer satisfaction. Hourly Pay Range: $30.62 to $61.31 - May be paid hourly or flat rate. Lead Technician Incentive Program: Potential to earn based on the hours generated by the team in the shop. Monthly Productivity Incentive: Hourly Technicians have the potential to earn monthly productivity bonuses of $1.50 per hour worked, and Flat rate technicians have the potential to earn monthly productivity bonuses up to $3.00 per flat rate hour.
Requirements
- Ford or Lincoln certifications are required.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong emphasis on diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications
- Valid Washington Driver's License
Responsibilities
- Dispatch work to the team in an equitable manner that achieves maximum productivity and quality service
- Provide first-line technical assistance to team members
- Assists with training other Service Technicians
- Perform diagnostic assessments and repairs on Ford and Lincoln vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.
- Execute repair orders efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Lead and mentor junior technicians to uphold service excellence.
- Communicate repair needs and vehicle issues clearly to service advisors and customers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Test drive vehicles as required during the maintenance or repair process.
