About The Position

Position at Sam Service Service Technician (Hot & Cold Side) – Jacksonville, FL SAM Service, Inc. is redefining service excellence by specializing in commercial cooking equipment, refrigeration, and HVAC. They are a growing company looking for hands-on problem solvers who value integrity, teamwork, and top-tier service. The role involves starting the day from home in a fully equipped company vehicle, using a company-provided iPad for work orders, and troubleshooting/repairing commercial kitchen, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment. The focus is on service, not sales, as the office team handles quotes, parts, and billing.

Requirements

  • Experience in equipment maintenance or repair (required)
  • Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, and other tech tools
  • Willingness to work overtime and participate in a rotating on-call schedule
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and participate in random testing
  • Most importantly: a curious mind and a willingness to learn

Nice To Haves

  • Refrigeration/HVAC experience and EPA certification (preferred, not required)
  • Strong technical and electrical skills—able to read wiring diagrams and manuals

Responsibilities
