About The Position

The Service Technician II provides maintenance, service, and repair for commercial cooking equipment and commercial refrigeration i.e. grills, fryers, ovens, ice machines, reach-in and walk-in coolers, freezers, etc. This role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial kitchen equipment and refrigeration. The technician will communicate status updates for part orders and repairs with branch support and the customer, complete service calls accurately and timely, and audit truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked. Ensuring the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms are consistent with Whaley standards of safety is also a key responsibility. The role also includes meeting on-call requirements.

Requirements

Three years of experience in commercial kitchen repair and or refrigeration.
Must be 18 years of age.
Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
Valid Driver's license and driving record that aligns with our safety standard.
Ability to work independently
Ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication and soft skills.
Good driving record

Nice To Haves

An automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical background is a plus.
Journeyman License and or CFESA certification not required but would be a plus.
