About The Position

The Commercial Installation Lead provides customer equipment installation of HVACR and or commercial kitchen equipment (e.g., fryers, grills, ovens, freezers). This role involves mentoring, leading, and motivating team members in a safe, productive, and efficient manner. The technician will install commercial HVACR and kitchen equipment according to manufacturer specifications, and design, fabricate, and install various ducts and duct fittings as required. Communication with customers and team members regarding repairs and status updates, as well as communicating part orders with the branch, is essential. Accurate and timely documentation of tasks, including parts and work orders, and timesheets, is required. The technician is also responsible for maintaining the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms according to company policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Three years of installation experience with combined commercial kitchen equipment and or HVACR equipment i.e., RTUS, chillers,
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required
  • Valid Driver's License and Driving Record that aligns with our safety standards.
  • Ability to lead and or work within a team.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends.
  • Ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Plumbing background is a plus.
  • Contractor, journeyman, and or HVAC certification would-be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor, lead, and motivate team members in a safe, productive and efficient manner.

  • Communicate professionally with customer(s) and team regarding repairs and status updates.
  • Communicate part order(s) with branch.
  • Document task (parts/work orders, timesheets) accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms consistent with policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
