About The Position

Vi at La Jolla Village is seeking an enthusiastic team player to join their team as a Lead Server. This role involves training new servers, leading daily tasks such as table assignments and bussing stations, and performing all functions of a server. The Lead Server may also act as a food runner and assist with staff oversight as needed. Requirements

• Previous restaurant and/or customer service experience
• Ability to follow simple instructions
• Ability to compose short correspondence and memos
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to residents and staff
• Ability to use Point of Sale (POS) system
• Possess or be willing and able to obtain Food Handlers certification, as required

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
