About The Position
Our direct client in North Chicago, IL is seeking a Lead/Senior Playwright QA Automation Engineer for a contract position with the potential for full-time conversion. This role is 100% onsite, with no exceptions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in QA Automation Engineering, with a strong focus on Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies. Experience with Azure DevOps, SQL, API testing, and Git is also required. A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is necessary.
Requirements
- 12+ years of QA Automation Engineering experience
- 3+ years of hands-on Playwright experience
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript experience
- CI/CD automation and continuous testing experience
- Experience with Azure DevOps, SQL, API testing, Git, and Agile
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop QA automation strategies using Playwright.
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks.
- Execute continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform API testing.
- Collaborate with development teams in an Agile environment.
