About The Position

As a Lead/Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

Requirements

10+ years of enterprise-grade software development experience using Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Batch, and Spring-based microservices).
6+ years of experience in building highly available, secure, and transaction‑intensive systems that support financial workflows.
6+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server, including advanced stored procedure development, performance tuning, and data integrity optimization for large-scale datasets.
4+ years of experience working in cloud environments, including Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) and Microsoft Azure, supporting mission-critical applications.
3+ years of experience designing and deploying Azure-based cloud-native solutions, with a focus on scalability, resiliency, and cost optimization.
3+ years of experience integrating and supporting RESTful APIs, distributed services, and observability platforms such as Splunk for monitoring and incident analysis.
3+ years of experience in application security, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure API design.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).

Nice To Haves

Experience building or supporting systems in the financial services / fintech domain, such as payments, lending, treasury, risk, or financial data platforms.
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations (e.g., SOX, PCI-DSS, data privacy, audit readiness).
Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React, enabling full-stack collaboration.
Strong exposure to DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, including automated testing, secure deployments, and environment promotions.
Experience working in Agile delivery models, collaborating with product owners, QA, and business stakeholders using tools like Jira and Confluence.
Exposure to AI-assisted software development, including knowledge of LLMs, AI APIs, or developer productivity tools leveraging AI.
Experience modernizing legacy financial platforms into microservices or cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes ensuring adherence to coding standards.
Mentor engineers through pairing, feedback, and technical coaching.
Contribute to cloud adoption and legacy modernization efforts.
