Lead Scheduler - Michels Power, Inc.
About The Position
Michels Power, Inc. is a leading power delivery contractor specializing in electrical infrastructure projects, including transmission lines, substations, distribution systems, and renewable energy initiatives. The Lead Scheduler provides advanced scheduling support and daily guidance for the Scheduling team. This role is responsible for preparing, monitoring, and amending fully loaded project schedules to ensure project goals are met within specified parameters. Additionally, the Lead Scheduler will develop and implement standard scheduling procedures, train new employees, and foster a culture of continuous growth and improvement.
Requirements
- Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5-8 years of related experience.
- A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record.
- Proficient with Scheduling software programs (Primavera, P6, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Responsibilities
- Provides advanced scheduling support and daily guidance for the Scheduling team.
- Prepares, monitors, and amends fully loaded project schedules.
- Ensures that project goals or objectives are accomplished within the prescribed parameters.
- Develops and implements standard scheduling procedures.
