About The Position

An Arizona state agency needs a hands-on Lead Salesforce Developer to own the end-to-end architecture of its Experience Cloud platform, the sites where the public actually interacts with state services, from template strategy through security models, CI/CD, and high-volume automation. This role offers genuine lead authority, including architecture decisions, code review standards, and C-suite roadmap presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years as a Salesforce Developer
  • 5+ years as a Lead Salesforce Developer
  • Phoenix-area resident (current city on resume)
  • Authorized to work without sponsorship, W2 only

Responsibilities

  • Lead Experience Cloud architecture, selecting LWR vs. Aura templates for performance and SEO
  • Design security and identity models (External Identity, SSO, Account Relationship Data Sharing, Apex Managed Sharing)
  • Build modular, high-performance LWCs optimized for LWR
  • Implement Audience Targeting and Salesforce CMS personalization
  • Design Headless Flows and asynchronous Apex for high-volume external transactions
  • Integrate Data Cloud, ERP, AWS, and Marketing Cloud via REST/SOAP and Named Credentials
  • Define CI/CD and branching strategy for Experience Cloud metadata
  • Enforce coding standards and mentor developers
