About The Position

The Jordan Brand is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Partner Rep to manage relationships with strategic wholesale Retail clients. The role will serve as Jordan Brand’s key business liaison working with the client’s Account Buying, Merchandising, Planning, and Operational functions. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about the Jordan Brand, has a strong background in Sales, Account Management, Retail Math, Leadership in the moment, and excels in building and nurturing professional relationships. The ideal candidate will also have exceptional multitasking abilities, a high degree of organizational skills, experience delivering new product stories to the marketplace, analytical skills, and the ability for developing and delivering engaging presentations. Art and science are connected in this role. The ideal candidate possesses strong retail metric understanding and acumen with the ability to translate point-of-sales data into weekly, monthly, and seasonal summaries that derive insights to influence business decisions. In addition, this person efficiently manages stock-to-sales plans and creates strategy and action. On the art side we’re looking for candidates who possesses knowledge of the Jordan consumer, streetwear, footwear/apparel trends, and the competency to drive compelling presentations and storytelling to our retail partner.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Sales and/or Retail Merchandising
  • Planning and/or sales analytic acumen
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. which may include samples and sales materials
  • Any country-specific items required by local laws (check with your local legal partners)
  • Willingness to travel (up to 25%)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver strategic plans against financial targets
  • Serve as Jordan’s primary point of contact with designated retail account partner
  • Serve as a liaison and advocate for the client to our internal functional teammates
  • Create assortment and sell-in strategy, develop financial forecast for total portfolio, execute partner engagement meetings and marketplace insights
  • Pursue in-season at-once orders, track sales trends, provide marketplace insights, and ensure minimum advertised price compliance.
  • Ensure orders are entered fully and on time, develop solutions for late or cancelled orders and delivery of product
  • Help facilitate and ideate on brand marketing moments with specific product launches or Assortments.
  • Sample management, showroom management and takedown seasonally.
