The Lead Sales & Guest Experience Associate is a high-performance, developmental role designed to prepare future leaders for the next level within UPMA Group, serving as a crucial step in a career journey that can lead to Assistant Center Manager, Center Manager, and beyond. This role focuses on sales culture, center flow, and real-time coaching, acting as a 'player-coach' by modeling high-performance sales behavior and providing shift leadership when management is not present. The Lead GSA ensures operational integrity and maintains the center's visual standards.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in high-performance sales and hitting KPIs.
  • Ability to speak confidently in front of the team and coach others effectively without formal authority.
  • Self-motivated and reliable, showing up on time and staying proactive during downtime.
  • Ability to handle high-stress moments with a calm, logical head.
  • Desire to learn the foundations of leadership to eventually move into an Assistant Center Manager role.
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed sales goals and manage KPIs.
  • Previous experience in a high-volume retail or service environment.
  • Proficient in POS systems, Microsoft Excel, and basic math.
  • A desire to be a passionate EWC Brand Culture Warrior.

Responsibilities

  • Model high-performance sales behavior and demonstrate how to sell Wax Passes.
  • Provide shift leadership 3-4 times per week, working opposite shifts of management to ensure a leader is always available.
  • Coach peers in the moment to help them overcome objections and improve sales numbers.
  • Ensure the center's 'Visual Standard' is perfect, from the lobby to the Wax Suites.
  • Report any operational needs directly to the Center Manager.
  • Be available for emergency shift coverage when needed.
