About The Position

Lead Retail Sales Technician (Electronic Repair Expert) at uBreakiFix stores. This role combines technical repair skills with leadership abilities, focusing on customer service and team success. The position involves diagnosing and repairing electronic devices, guiding the team with product knowledge and sales tactics, managing inventory, and supervising/training other technicians. The Lead Retail Sales Technician will also act as a store manager when needed and ensure service-level agreements are met.

Requirements

Previous experience in customer service or retail sales in a supervisory position – at least 1 year.
Previous experience with product service support or technology repair with inventory management skills – at least 6 months.
A natural ability to connect with customers, making them feel heard, valued, and cared for.
Motivation to meet and exceed evolving key performance goals.
Ability to quickly adapt in an ever-changing environment.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred not required).

Responsibilities

Diagnosing and repairing all electronic devices, ensuring best in class quality in every fix.
Guiding the team to use product knowledge and sales tactics that embody the Serve, Solve, Sell™ philosophy.
Balancing different front and back of house responsibilities.
Supervising, training and coaching tech experts.
Standing in as store manager when needed.
Driving team success with enthusiasm.
Overseeing service-level agreements for repair turnaround times.
Ensuring all work orders are addressed by the end of each day.
Managing inventory.
Overseeing buybacks and return authorizations.
Ensuring safety standards are met with the proper use of PPE supplies.
