About The Position

Overview: ARC of the Treasure Coast is seeking a dependable Lead Rest Area Attendant to oversee daily operations at an I-95 rest area. This role supervises attendants, ensures a clean and safe environment, and supports individuals with disabilities in a team-based setting. Key Responsibilities: Supervise, train, and support Attendants Assign and monitor work; ensure quality and safety standards Conduct routine inspections and maintain site cleanliness Ensure adequate supplies and proper equipment use Perform custodial duties (restrooms, floors, trash, general cleaning) Maintain grounds appearance and complete required reports Enforce safety protocols and proper PPE use

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record
• Ability to pass a Level II background screening
• Standing/walking for extended periods
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Bending, kneeling, reaching, and use of custodial equipment

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years custodial/janitorial experience preferred
• Leadership or training experience a plus
• Knowledge of OSHA, infection control, and safety standards
• Strong communication and organizational skills
