About The Position

Under the general direction of the department and with direct guidance of the shift supervisor, the respiratory team leader coordinates the day to day operations of the respiratory services department. In addition to fulfilling the duties of a respiratory therapist as outlined in the job description, the respiratory team leader will perform a variety of daily tasks, including but not limited to: Flex staffing to workload, meeting the needs of the department and demands of patient care, organize and distribute workload, prepare reports and documentation utilized during downtime procedure, serve as a resource to staff, physicians, nursing and other allied health staff.

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Associate degree in respiratory therapy
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care
• Registry with the National Board for Respiratory Care as a RRT
• Active licensure with Florida Department of Health

• Bachelor degree
• Previous lead/supervisor experience
