Organization: Bronch Lab Staff Job Summary: Performs advanced respiratory care diagnostic procedures, assessments and respiratory therapy procedures independently. Holds and maintains a level three (III) or level four (IV) status and the associated functions according to the career advancement standard operating policy. In the absence of the primary respiratory supervisor serves as the leader responsible for assigning patient workload to clinical staff member and act as the lead clinical resource during their time as supervisor. Interacts will all levels of staff members and represents the department and communicate with the manager and director as necessary.   • Relevant Work Experience

  • Graduate of an approved discipline specific program

Responsibilities

  • Performs advanced respiratory care diagnostic procedures, assessments and respiratory therapy procedures independently.
  • Holds and maintains a level three (III) or level four (IV) status and the associated functions according to the career advancement standard operating policy.
  • In the absence of the primary respiratory supervisor serves as the leader responsible for assigning patient workload to clinical staff member and act as the lead clinical resource during their time as supervisor.
  • Interacts will all levels of staff members and represents the department and communicate with the manager and director as necessary.
  • Initiates and oversees Respiratory Therapist protocols for specific work areas.
  • Serves as a Unit Based Lead. Monitors daily workload across RRTs to ensure optimal service levels.
  • Assists with onboarding and training as needed to ensure competency in all tasks, equipment and protocols.
  • Provides operational guidance to the staff, with direction from the respiratory Leadership or CTL as necessary and completes assigned administrative duties.
  • Performs all duties as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
